Vivienne worked in different departments of the court service from 1961-1973. From 1973-1984 she was a Lord Chancellor’s Welfare officer on the Northern Circuit latterly visiting clients for the Public Trust Department.
In 1999 Vivienne was appointed as a Lord Chancellor’s Visitor and was subsequently contracted as a Court of Protection Visitor until her retirement in September 2018.
Throughout her career, Vivienne has understood the needs of those with mental health problems, learning difficulties, dementia and brain injury. She has counselling and communication skills. She is a facilitator and is adapt at problem solving.
She currently supports professional deputies and attorneys in a range of tasks including visits to their clients to complete deputyship reports and capacity assessments. She is a certificate provider to donor’s completing Lasting Powers of Attorney.
